Margaret House offers a unique setting for couples seeking a intimate garden ceremony in Melbourne's inner city.

Our garden provides a beautiful backdrop for your wedding ceremony, surrounded by citrus trees, hydrangeas, rosemary, flowers, and a majestic 100-year-old peppercorn tree. Perfect for those seeking a local intimate affair.

We can accomodate for 50 guests.

Hire the space for 2-3 hours… get married, have some champagne, take some photos, then continue your celebration at your favorite restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Rates: Ceremony & BYO Champagne

2 hours: $2200

3 hours: $3300

1 hour (photos only): $770

Extras: We recommend you find a hire company for chairs, sound & glassware. We are happy to recommend hire companies.

We sadly cannot offer options for receptions, as we share the house with neighbours, and don’t want to disturb them.

We are open for ceremonies and photoshoots from 1 November to 30 April.

Inspections are available year-round by appointment, ensuring your day is perfect from start to finish.
